    The No Child Left Behind Act is the primary statute governing the United States federal government's role in early childhood education. The Johnson Administration passed the act as the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and was overhauled when George W. Bush joined with Democrats to emphasize its focus on standardized test scores.

    A liberal arts degree will educate students in a broad variety of topics. Students will study a variety of subjects and will ultimately gain an improved working knowledge of the world as a whole. As opposed to focusing or specializing in one specific area, a liberal arts education will prepare students for all the opportunities and changes that occur in life.
