Study in university is a big investment, As a student, I know that books are a tremendous expense at college. At the beginning of each semester, a few hundred of my best dollars turn straight to college book money. The rest of the semester, I'm budgeting what I've got left, wondering how I will sustain all the other random expenses of being at college. Any way I can earn some extra college book money will be greatly appreciated.
A my lack of college book money has kept me from buying my textbooks in the past, I have become wily about scraping together these necessary funds in recent semesters.
One of the easiest ways I've earned college book money is a simple method of buying and reselling used textbooks. Not only does it pay for books, but I've actually been turning a profit.
It's based on this principle: The bookstore at college buys used books that are still in the curriculum at the end of each semester for a significant percentage of the original sale.
They do this, because they resell them for more. It's great for me because I can easily walk away with a few hundred bucks in my pocket. However, when the semester starts and I need books, I can order used textbooks on the internet (Half.com or Amazon) usually for much cheaper than for what the bookstore at school would sell it to me for, and even buy it back for.
Thus, I buy cheap books on the internet, and resell them for profit at the end of the semester. Easy as pie, and I can actually have the books that I need now.
The profits generally enable you to buy the new text books when used ones aren't available (which inevitably happens each semester too). It's not something you can earn a living do it, but it is a clever way to earn some easy college book money.
