If you're thinking about studying abroad, and are looking for a safe, friendly and fun environment to study in, then Australia may just be the destination for you. It has one of the highest standards of living in the world, so you can be sure that you'll feel comfortable, and can be guaranteed a safe and fulfilling experience there. Australia also has many world class universities and colleges throughout the country, to help you to get the best education and qualifications to advance in your career. International education is one of the country's biggest exports, and as a result the educational institutions have become very prestigious and internationally recognised, allowing students with a degree from an Australian institution to be eligible for jobs at companies in many countries around the world. What's more, the cost of living is fairly low compared to other Western countries, so you don't have to be rich to live and study there.
One of the best things about Australia is that it does not discriminate against different cultures and races. With international students and migrants from all over the world living in the country, no matter who you are, you are guaranteed a warm welcome.
The academic possibilities are one of the biggest drawcards of studying in Australia. Many international companies these days look to hire people with Australian qualifications. This is because the country exposes students to the outside world from a multicultural point of view, and in doing so, prepares them for today's global marketplace. It is often said that students who receive education in Australia are more independent and mature than students from other countries.
One of the main reasons that Australia is the third most popular country in the world to study in is that the government invests billions of dollars every year on improving the education in the country. Their focus is on international students and the level of education that they offer is improving each year, with more and more highly-qualified teachers / instructors / facilities / resources - giving students the chance to excel rapidly in an encouraging environment.
All major Australian cities have at least a few universitys, and there are also many smaller (but equally as qualified) vocational and training colleges dotted around the country too. The support systems which the government has in place are also very efficient and helpful, ensuring that they receive the best possible education with the east possible hassles / issues. Living in a foreign country can be a difficult experience at times, which is why it's extremely comforting to have access to services which understand and support you through the change / adaption into "Aussie" life.
Overall, Australia is one of the best countries in the world to study in. The opportunities which will be open to you should you complete a degree / diploma / certificate in Australia are limitless, and no matter what you want to study, there will always be the perfect course to suit your needs. Australia is a lot more than sun, sea and sand - though those things definitely make studying in the country a lot more fun!
